Here’s a rich, savory mash full of flavors. This recipe is a real crowd pleaser.
- 25 oz potatoes
- 3.5 oz butter
- 2 oz grated parmesan
- 5 fl.oz double cream
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 0.25 tsp nutmeg
- Peel the potatoes and cut them in quarters. Place them in a pan, cover with cold water and bring them to a boil. Let them boil gently for 15-20 minutes, until they're soft.
- Drain the potatoes and place them in a bowl. Now press them with a potato press and place back in the pan.
- Set the hob to medium heat and add the butter. Stir and let it melt.
- Now add the cheese, cream and spices and stir. Add white and/or black pepper to taste.
