Dags att tillverka ett grillgaller som kommer l\u00e4ngre ner, n\u00e4rmare gl\u00f6den. S\u00e5 h\u00e4r gjorde jag.<\/p>\n
Jag beh\u00f6vde f\u00e5 gallret l\u00e4ngre ner i grillen, n\u00e4rmare gl\u00f6den. Ju n\u00e4rmare gl\u00f6den desto b\u00e4ttre bryning. D\u00e4rf\u00f6r m\u00e4tte jag hur stort gallrets diameter beh\u00f6vde vara, i mitt fall 32 cm. Jag k\u00f6pte 6 mm rundstav p\u00e5 Bromma St\u00e5l, 6 meter. Inspirationen kommer f\u00f6rst\u00e5s fr\u00e5n original-gallret till Big Green Egg. Jag gillar det tjocka materialet, det \u00e4r l\u00e4tt att reng\u00f6ra.<\/p>\n
Jag b\u00f6rjade med att s\u00e5ga till tv\u00e5 tr\u00e4skivor som limmades och skruvades ihop. Dessa anv\u00e4nds som jigg f\u00f6r att bocka ’ramen’.<\/p>\nEn jigg i tr\u00e4 f\u00f6r att bocka ramen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Efter att ha f\u00e5tt till den kapade jag den i r\u00e4tt l\u00e4ngd och skar till \u00e4ndarna med vinkelslipen s\u00e5 de passar ihop bra.<\/p>\nDags att svetsa ihop \u00e4ndarna p\u00e5 ramen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Sen var det bara att svetsa ihop, och slipa skarven lite. Snabbt och enkelt, och bra blev det.<\/p>\nOsynlig skarv efter svetsning<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
N\u00e4r det var klart tr\u00e4dde jag ramen p\u00e5 tr\u00e4jiggen igen och knackade ut den s\u00e5 den var s\u00e5 j\u00e4mnt rund som m\u00f6jligt. Sen drog jag upp den s\u00e5 den satt precis p\u00e5 kanten. D\u00e5 kunde jag l\u00e4gga p\u00e5 en ’pinne’ i taget f\u00f6r att svetsa fast, och f\u00e5 gallret platt och j\u00e4mnt. Jag slipade ner \u00e4ndarna p\u00e5 varje pinne f\u00f6r att de skulle monteras n\u00e4stan j\u00e4mnt i h\u00f6jd med ramen.<\/p>\nDags att svetsa alla pinnarna i gallret<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
H\u00e4r svetsar jag fast f\u00f6rsta pinnen, mitt i mitten.<\/p>\nF\u00f6rsta pinnen p\u00e5 plats<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Efter det satte jag den andra. Den \u00e4r viktig d\u00e5 den best\u00e4mmer avst\u00e5ndet mellan alla pinnar.<\/p>\nAndra pinnen p\u00e5 plats. Snart klar.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
S\u00e5 h\u00e4r ser gallret ut med alla pinnar p\u00e5 plats.<\/p>\nGrillgallret n\u00e4stan f\u00e4rdigt<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Sist kapade jag till tre ben. Jag skar ett jack med vinkelslipen d\u00e4r de ska b\u00f6jas. Sen svetsade jag ’kn\u00e4et’.<\/p>\nTillverkning av ben<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
