Peel the potatoes and cut them in quarters. Place them in a pan, cover with cold water and bring them to a boil. Let them boil gently for 15-20 minutes, until they're soft.
Drain the potatoes and place them in a bowl. Now press them with a potato press and place back in the pan.
Set the hob to medium heat and add the butter. Stir and let it melt.
Now add the cheese, cream and spices and stir. Add white and/or black pepper to taste.
