Bacon wrapped dates are quick to make, and you can cook them on the grill or in the oven. If grilling them, use direct heat. It takes approximately 10-20 minutes, depending on how hot your grill is. The combination of sweet dates and salty bacon is superb!

Instructions
- Remove the pits from the fresh dates. Then wrap each date in a streak of bacon, and fix it with a toothpick.
- The toothpick is removed later, before serving. Place the wrapped dates in the oven at 200° C/ 400° F, or on a grill running at approximately 150-170° C / 300-350° F.
- Remove them when they have the same color as in the picture above. Remove the toothpick, let them cool for 5 minutes, then serve.
