This is my goto pie crust. Almost all pie crust recipes are based on the 1.3 cups wheat flour and 5 ounces of butter. If you replace half the butter with curd cheese and add some baking powder you get a better pie in my opinion.

Ingredients
- 1.3 cups wheat flour
- 2.5 oz butter
- 0.3 cups curd cheese
- 0.5 tsp baking powder
Custard
- 3 eggs
- 1.3 cups milk
Instructions
- Turn on the oven, set it to 175° C / 350° F.
- Melt the butter a little, I usually run it in the microwave oven for 20 seconds. This is just to soften it a bit.
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, and knead it lightly.
- Cover an 11″ pie dish with the dough and pre-bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
- Take it out, fill with your favorite ingredients and the baked custard and put it back in the oven for 30 minutes.
