Salmon burger is one of the best ways to eat fish. Young people like it, old people like it. What’s not to like? It’s a fresh new take on the classic hamburger, and it doesn’t take long to make.

Ingredients
- 28 oz salmon
- 1 egg
- 4 tbsp greek yoghurt
- 2 tbsp bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1.5 tsp salt
- 1 tsp coarse ground black pepper
- 6 hamburger buns
- whatever toppings you like
Instructions
- Place the salmon in a large pan with water, and let it boil for 3-4 minutes. Get rid of the water, and fill the pan with ice cold water and leave it for a few minutes, to cool off the salmon.
- Get rid of the water and mash the salmon with a fork. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
- Shape 6-8 burgers with your hands, and place them on a cutting board.
- Fry them in a frying pan (preferrably non-stick) on high heat for 2-3 minutes per side.
- Serve on a hamburger bread with mayonnaise, thinly sliced red onion, avocado and some lettuce.
