Ingredients

  • 25 oz potatoes
  • 3.5 oz butter
  • 2 oz grated parmesan
  • 5 fl.oz double cream
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 0.25 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them in quarters. Place them in a pan, cover with cold water and bring them to a boil. Let them boil gently for 15-20 minutes, until they're soft.
  • Drain the potatoes and place them in a bowl. Now press them with a potato press and place back in the pan.
  • Set the hob to medium heat and add the butter. Stir and let it melt.
  • Now add the cheese, cream and spices and stir. Add white and/or black pepper to taste.
