Ah, Scones! What better way to start a weekend than proper British scones. They’re quick and easy to make.

Ingredients

2.1 cups wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2.6 oz butter
0.85 cups milk

5 dl wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
75 g butter
2 dl milk

Instructions

Mix all dry ingredients. Work the butter into the mix, and add the milk. Knead the dough on a flour-covered surface and split it into normal size scones (4-8). Bake the scones in the oven for 10-12 minutes at 530° F. Serve the scones with butter and your favorite jam.
